Some
say that the proper place for a surfer should be in the waves,
not behind a camera. Fortunately since the early ages of surfing
some guys have had a different opinion. In our film section,
we will focus on the movies shot after surfing had been elevated
from a sport to a way of life. From
legendary directors as Falzon, Greenough, Jepsen or Witzig to
the younger they have inspired, we will bring you the DVDs as
soon as they are available in European format. Subscribe
to our newsletter if you’d like to build an extensive movie
collection, we’ll keep you informed. |

Lines From A Poem by Nathan Oldfield
Lines from a poem is a must have
if you are into collecting longboard movies. It offers an original
and compelling perspective into the art of classical longboarding
on the East Coast of Australia.
It features an international crew
of surfers including Tom Wegener, Scott Dillon, Alex Knost,
Dane Peterson and more. Documenting both past and present, this
is a mature and mesmerising film for the discerning, traditional
surfer."
"A beautiful perspective
on the artform. The soundtrack is second to none. A really cool
film, with a smooth vibe." Luke Wright, Pacific Longboard
Magazine. "A
wonderful film. The surfing, the moods, the music... totally
took me away! the best things in surfing are here." Bruce
Channon / Surfinfo.com.au "What
you want in a Longboard film - relaxed and soothing to the soul."
