Some
say that the proper place for a surfer should be in the waves,
not behind a camera. Fortunately since the early ages of surfing
some guys have had a different opinion. In our film section,
we will focus on the movies shot after surfing had been elevated
from a sport to a way of life. From
legendary directors as Falzon, Greenough, Jepsen or Witzig to
the younger they have inspired, we will bring you the DVDs as
soon as they are available in European format. Subscribe
to our newsletter if you’d like to build an extensive movie
collection, we’ll keep you informed. |

SINGLE FIN YELLOW by Jason Baffa, 2003 The
story of a traditional longboard shaped to be shared by friends.
Our
guy Tyler shapes a longboard based on his father’s board templates.
Then he ships it around the world to share it with his friends…
No matter what Dr. Freud would say, if you want to see accurate
old school longboarding you need that movie.
The music is smooth and between a few chats you’ll get rewarded
with endless walks and noseridings. Plus: you want that yellow
board to be shared with yourself !

RIDERS: Tyler Hatzikian, Beau Young, David Kinoshita, Daize
Shayne, Devon Howard, Honga Perkins.
LOCATIONS: California, Australia, Mexico, Hawai and Japan. |
