say that the proper place for a surfer should be in the waves,
not behind a camera. Fortunately since the early ages of surfing
some guys have had a different opinion. In our film section,
we will focus on the movies shot after surfing had been elevated
from a sport to a way of life.
From
legendary directors as Falzon, Greenough, Jepsen or Witzig to
the younger they have inspired, we will bring you the DVDs as
soon as they are available in European format.

Must
have. A surfing odyssey by The Val Dusty Experiment.
The filiation
between Falzon and Andrew Kidman is obvious. Only the younger
makes the dope side more explicit. The Val Dusty Experiment
music is tripping and Kidman focuses on capturing the surfers’
soul.
The surfing, the boards and the
minimal talking echoes Morning of the Earth. And the presence
of Mickey Dora completes this odyssey back to Kidman’s surf
roots. A very classic.
