not behind a camera. Fortunately since the early ages of surfing
some guys have had a different opinion. In our film section,
we will focus on the movies shot after surfing had been elevated
from a sport to a way of life.
From
legendary directors as Falzon, Greenough, Jepsen or Witzig to
the younger they have inspired, we will bring you the DVDs as
soon as they are available in European format.

This film is considered as a milestone
that opened the gate for a new generation of culture sourced
16mm surf movies.
The title comes from the idea
that what our lives are about is more than just playing in the
ocean and that the people we travel with and meet are more than
just friends. Thicker than water then, though you'll see the
biggest waves ever ridden in Tahiti. The whole was shot during
an 18 months trip in the US, Europe and Asia... sounds good.
And above all, you get a 14 tunes soundtrack CD that would worth
the purchase in itself: Jack Johnson, G-Love, Finley Quaye (!),
The Voyces, Smoke city and a refreshing Harpers Bizarre, between
